The Add-In task pane shows up and requests the user trusts the Add-In from the store. The Add-In does not show in any way when the document is loaded - despite the reference to it being present in the document. The menu that will pop out will give you options to arrange the icons by their Name, Date Modified, Date Created, Size, Kind and Label. Just below the “Show icon preview”, click on the box next to “Arrange by”. As an example, if it is an image document, it will show the picture itself and if the document is a word document, it will show the first page of the file.Īfter which, if you so choose, you can also select the arrangement of the icons on your desktop. Placing a check on the “Icon preview” field will allow you to see a small sample of the file. Placing a check on the “Show item info” field will allow you to view information about the files on that folder or the size and other related information relevant to that specific file (such as the dimension of the picture or the duration of an audio file). 
The fourth row of the desktop preference task pane contains check boxes next to “Show item info” and “Show icon preview”.
Set the option whether you want the Item information or Icon preview showing up on your Macintosh desktop. Text sizes available are from 10 pt to 16 pt. To change the font size, simply click the box next to “Text size” and select the size you want the icon’s text to have. The third row of the desktop preference task pane contains the size of the text showing up together with your icon. Set your desired font or text size for the icons found on your Macintosh desktop. To make it that there would be more space in between icons, just nudge the slider to your right. To change the spacing so that there would be less distance in between icons, just nudge the slider to your left. Grid spacing will make it possible for your icons to be consistently spaced, horizontally and vertically. 
The second row of the desktop preference task pane contains the slider for Grid spacing. Set your desired preferences for the spacing of the icons on your Macintosh desktop.To change the icon size, all you have to do is shift the icon size slider using your mouse until you get your desired icon size. There are eight sizes you can use as the size your desktop icons: 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 64圆4, 80x80, 96x96, 112x112 and 128x128 16x16 being the smallest and 128x128 being the largest. The desktop preference for the icon size is found on the first row of the task pane. The Desktop Preferences task pane is divided into four rows: Icon size, Grid Spacing, Text size and the Icon preview or the Item information.
Set your desired preferences for the sizes of the icons present on your Macintosh desktop. This will open the View Menu where you click on “Show View Options” to populate the Desktop Preferences task pane. From your desktop, hit the “View” menu from the Apple menu bar.
